Research on a Driving Assistance System for Lane Changes on Foggy Highways

Currently, there is limited research in the field of micro-scale foggy weather highway lane-change driving assistance systems. This study focuses on development a system for vehicles highways. The designed to address need lane changes various scenarios, such as number variations, vehicle malfunctions, and departure from highway, which are commonly encountered during conditions According trend high-precision BeiDou positioning electronic map, technology based vertical iterative methods highways that relies V2V safe distance changing, addition lane-changing warning rules, proposed; network performance was tested through physical design. experimental results show stable when with low latency (below 30 ms) high data throughput (above 550 kb/s at 300 m communication distance) ensuring fast effective sending receiving information status. can improve capacity achieve purpose “less speed reduction, less road closure”.
